Bencleuch Cocker Spaniels

11/08/08	Today Linda attended Scottish Cocker Spaniel Club show under breed specialist Coral Morris, where only Bencleuch Bollinger attended, as B.Billionaires handler was at a wedding in Switzerland!!!!!!! :-) However, Linda & Taylor did very well, and we were delighted to win Best in Show with Bencleuch's Bollinger. Well done to you both...... At the same show in November Bollinger won Best Puppy in Show, with his half brother Billionaire winning Best in Show.
28/07/08	The show season has been very quiet for us. Only 3 Championship shows attended this year. As many of you will know Angela is pregnant (now nearly 6 months gone) however has been quite sick. This has therefore prevented us from doing as many shows as we would have liked. Anyway, we are being kept busy at home, we have 2 litters from B.Bollinger. Will update site soon with photos. We were also pleased for Anita Barnett (Kinvale) who took her puppy sired by Bencleuch's Billionaire to his first show at the weekend, and he went Best Puppy In Show. Well Done. We are also looking forward to a week's vacation in Switzerland next week.
22/06/08	At Border Union Championship Show, under Elaine Thomas, B.Bollinger (Taylor) won his class.
06/06/08	We had a lovely break in Madrid. Antonio Plaza had a wonderful day with his young red dog, Calais. Who won Best of Breed under Jackie Rowland, he then won the Gundog Group, followed by 3rd Best In Show - Well Done. Last Friday we went to Southern Counties Championship Show, the Judge for the day was Anne More (Sprogmore) B.Billionaire delighted us, again, by winning 1st Special Yearling Dog, and his 1/2 brother gained a 2nd. 22/05/08	We attended our first championship show on Sunday, since November 07! Our boys did us proud. B.Bollinger won 2nd in very good company and B.Billionaire delighted us by winning his class, again in very good company. The judge was Cath Mason, Lynshow. Off to Madrid this weekend to visit our dear friend Antonio Plaza & Alicia. We shall be attending a show, where Jacky Rowland shall be the judge. Hopefully the weather shall be kind to us. Upon on return we shall upload some photos.

Sorry the soap box has been quite quiet for a few months. That does not mean there is no news at Bencleuch!!!

In January we took the two boys to their first show of the year. Falkirk Canine Open show. Bencleuch Billionaire won Best of Breed, with his half brother Bencleuch Bollinger winning a strong puppy Class.

Last week Linda took Bollinger to East of Scotland Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show, where Bencleuch Bollinger won Best Puppy in Show. He is starting to learn the ropes. We are very proud of these two boys.

We plan to return to the championship show scene next month in order to campaign the boys.

Bencleuch Bollinger is also looking forward to becoming a daddy in the coming weeks. He has been mated to Bencleuch Bella Beline. The pedigree looks very interesting indeed!!!!! Watch this space.....

We also look forward to seeing B.Billionaire's progeny in the ring soon. Just last week he sired a litter of 10 puppies for another cocker spaniel breeder!!!!!!
